Mission
Statement
The mission of the Richmond Fellowship Adolescent Program is:
* to provide a seamless service which allows for transition from crisis
accommodation to independent living for the adolescents in our care;
* to offer, at every stage in this process, opportunities to adolescents
for personal, vocational and social development; and
* to achieve the best possible outcomes for each individual, involving
families and other professionals in a collaborative way.

Outreach House This is a unique residential program
offering solutions for young people between 11 and 18 years of age who are
unable to live at home for various reasons. The program promotes a better
quality of life through educational opportunities and participation in
social and recreational activities.

* Special Needs Program This is a
transitional program which offers a stepping-stone from a structured
environment such as Outreach House, to less supported community living. It
is designed to provide continuity of care until clients are ready for
independent living.

* Marlow Cottage This is a Care and
Protection-mandated shelter for young people between 11 and 18years of age.
The program offers short-term and emergency accommodation(for up to four
weeks) to young people who are unable to live at home, on respite, or are
unable to find alternative accommodation. It is also used for bail clients
awaiting sentencing.
Marlow Cottage offers safety, boundaries and a firm behaviour modification
program.

* Living Skills Program This
program is for young men who engage in inappropriate behaviour, and offers
medium to long term treatment designed to reduce the risk of re-offending.
Young men are guided to take responsibility for past offences and are
taught to intervene early in the offending cycle. They are also taught
general life skills for independent living.

the Office for Children, Youth and Family Support, on (02) 62075169.

* Phoenix Program A day program which
provides some educational, vocational and structured activities. The
program also provides positive role modelling, social skills training and
respect for general norms of behaviour.
The Phoenix Program actively encourages clients to attend mainstream
schooling or pursue employment.

the Office for Children, Youth and Family Support, on (02) 6207 5169.
This program is open only to current clients of our Youth Services.

The Richmond Fellowship Family
Counselling Service is for young people 12 to 25 years of age and their
parents, family members and carers, regarding a broad range of issues.
Our counselling is oriented toward the
goals of the individual and / or the family, and we aim to work with you to
find creative solutions.
Any family member or involved
professional may contact us regarding referral during business hours.
A
Reflecting Team process is also available to our clients. This is a
respectful and collaborative process that draws on the resources of the
entire team.
